| Patrick McGowan is constantly interpreting his surroundings for situations to portray with sculpture. Life as a veteran, father of seven children and widower provides him with a deep reservoir of human experiences for expressing himself in his sculpture. Life's ironies and the humor in them are also an endless supply of subject matter. All his works contain an emotion or statement waiting to be shared with its viewer. If he has to describe that feeling or message to be understood, then he has failed in his purpose. | |
