Hamoa, now purchased by Bob Greene and Oprah Winfrey, this vantage
point is closest to Hamoa and looks out towards the vague outlines
of Mauna Loa beyond Maui's southeastern tip. Its well-shaped
semi circle is placed on a rise of land, an ancient lookout
for invaders coming from afar to land in Hamoa Bay.
