Dianna Grundhauser will show how she transforms images into colorful art quilts.
Dianna Grundhauser is an award winning quilt artist who lives in Makawao with her husband, Bruce. Always surrounded by women who sewed as she grew up, Dianna's interest in quilting began at 18 when her mom gave her a quilt her grandmother had made. A class at a local quilt shop ignited what was to become a consuming passion for fabric, thread and quilts. Over the years her "quilting life" has taken her from student, quilt shop owner and teacher, to quilt artist. Dianna is continually inspired by the natural beauty of her island home and strives to reflect the spirit of Hawaii in her work.
