Kit Gentry and Diana Lehr, two of the island’s finest artists, are showcasing their latest collections in an exhibit at Viewpoints Gallery in Makawao, from June 10 – July 9. Both artists are extraordinary talents in their mediums, and have received critical acclaim for their work in both national and international art circles.

Diana Lehr works in watercolor and pastels to create masterpieces of that evoke emotion and wonder, as she deftly plays with light, color, and shadow to great affect.
Where Kit Gentry renders his artwork with precision, Diana Lehr is moved by the feelings and energy of her subject matter. Though their approach is different, the results are the same: Museum-quality paintings that serve as heirloom treasures of enormous importance and impact. To have both of them exhibiting together gives the viewer a unique experience in ‘seeing’ the island in two very different and equally superior and compelling visions, is a real treat for the art aficionado and appreciator of fine art.
