A completely remodeled Viewpoints Gallery reopens with a juried show featuring Maui Watercolorists. Viewpoints artist Stephanie Sachs teamed with Watercolorist Barbara Steinberg to spearhead the effort. Renowned artist Shige Yamada was selected to judge the show. Rose Moore, Viewpoints Gallery Manager, coordinated their efforts with the remodeling of the gallery.

Maui watercolor artists submitted 94 pieces for consideration. Juror, Shige Yamada selected 32 pieces for the exhibit. He also chose the two above as Juror's Choice. Jeanne Hardie and Earl Haupenthal each received a $50 cash prize together with award certificates and a special lei. A sampling of the remaining 30 pieces can be seen here.
