Forms of Endearment
An inveterate artist whose career spans more than fifty years, sculptor Patrick McGowan has been tagged a Renaissance man. A veteran, father of seven children and erstwhile widower remarried, McGowan has a deep personal reservoir of human experiences from which he expresses ideals, opinions and humor.

Patrick's works vary in style from contemporary to whimsical and representational. All of McGowan's works tell a story. They are personal statements on all manner of things anxious to be shared with the viewer.

Father and Son

Daydreamer

McGowan , a resident of Maui since 1990 and a member of Viewpoints Gallery since 1995, recently decided to teach sculpting to a handful of students out of his studio in Pukalani. His students, all professionals, meet each Friday morning for two hours. The fruits of their labor are on view in this show, Patrick McGowan & Company.

Aloha
McGowan is showing the four new sculptures you see on this page. Three of McGowan's students, civil engineer Steve Rinaldi, MCC Humanities instructor Craig Gardner and well known photographer Rick Allred are also debuting their first pieces of sculpture in this show (hence, "& Company").
