The Memory of Leaves

Focusing on a simple creation of nature - a leaf - a poetic and philosophical reflection on life transpires through the artist's new works. The art, dwelling between concept and reality, describes the leaves in the rich colors and textures of life; the way the sun shines through, the way they protect the flowers, the way they hang and fall... each one different from the other, showing their history through wind, sun, rain and more.

Clear Moment

The ginko leaf, like the ancient scribe
remembers the story like it was ...
She had no wishes or desire
not even a dream,
just the wonder of being alive
out of the burst of creation.
She is an open book
where in truth all is seen clearly

Leaves are a little bit like us... going through the seasons of the soul. A simple and timeless theme expressed in a variety of media. Watercolors and acrylics with plaster on wood as well as images created through computer technology will make this show very much part of our time and age. Not to mention that the leaf has been described by many as a symbol of Peace.

Clear Waters and Dualities

Clear Waters and Dualities

Stream of water, light and thoughts
weaving of the heart
into the nature of things
Dualities seem like nothing
when seen from far away.
In faith and play
I remember the way

Lost feather
in the Flight for Peace

A bird with a pure heart flew by
speaking of truth and harmony,
dreams and philosophy.
Running into the idea of the real world
boulders of the past and towers of fears
he lost his white feathers.
But the leaf of peace
died with integrity
opening the way of the heart
and the future of life.

In Love, They Fall

In Love, they fall

If you tell me
I love you
I'll dance with you
If you mean it
I'll love you too

Bittersweet Memory

Once upon a time a leaf grew on a tree
whose branches reach close to the sky.
Her spirit was high and
she was so full of enthusiasm
that even the Gods were jealous.
From high she came down and
was held by a stone of immovable mind.
She was just another leaf
another story to leave behind.

Evening Solitude

Evening Solitude

A cold wind came from the deep blue
showing the nature of aloneness,
Red for the passion of mind
Black for the night of hope.
When the meaning of colors changed
A dim light appeared at the horizon
Red for the flame of the heart
Black for the immensity of possibilities.

Falling for Beauty

A leaf in the water
Earth meets water
for a moment of beauty
Letting go of the body
and its sorrow
Relaxation of the mind
In love I let myself fall

Autumn, in Love

Autumn in love

Emotions,
I learn to forget...
So, I look at nature
and I remember...

Gathering

Sometimes the story is told
by the way they fall...
The first one was big and bright
and stood forward shouting her colors
The second a little more modest
Stayed more level headed
and knew to wear a warm coat
for the winter days
The third one did nothing
since she was...
the heart and the spirit
all in one
