I enjoy exploring form, sculptural gesture and textured surfaces in pots, that enhance the routines and special occasions of daily living.  I live and work in Haiku where the moa fern grow naturally in abundance.  I have chosen them as texture for my piece, bringing a part of my native environment into the home.

The Lindquists were beloved members of the
Hana community and of Maui. The National
Tropical Botanical Garden plantation of
breadfruit trees is located on the road to
their home, as are many kukui trees. They
were avid supporters of Hawaiian cultural
practices, and Carl was frequently seen
wearing a navy blue palaka shirt.

George likes mugs with a substantial handles
and easy-to-clean interiors. He only paints
with palette knives (never brushes). He
painted the scrap of cloth under the plexiglass
to replicate the paper he uses to wipe paint
from his knives.
